What Is Nuwaubu?

What is Nuwaupu? By The Grenadian Freethinker:

Most people I talk to in Grenada and other places do not understand what is Nuwaubu. As a Nuwaupian, let me make clear what someone means when they say that they are a Nuwaupian. One of the myths propragated by most Grenadian Christians, is that Nuwaupu is a religion. This can not be further from the truth. Nuwaupu is not an "ism".
First, remember that Nuwaupians are all black Alkebu-lan/African people, where ever they may be and what ever denominations they belong to. The word Nuwaubu is one of Alkebu-lan's (Africa) ancient names from which the name Nubian stems. However, on world (Europeans) documents Nuwaupians (Black Africans) are recorded as Moors which means 'black'. The Nuwaupian organisation, as with the Garvey organisation in the 1920's and other Black organisations, sought to unite all Nuwaupians /Nubians/Moors/Alkebu-lan people around the world into one nation, hence the name 'The United Nuwaupian Nation of Moors'. As a nation we have our own ancient language 'Nuwaupic', and our own family land of 'Tama-Re'. As Nuwaupians, we have to take back our ancient African culture and re-align ourselves with our ancestors. This is tantamount to survival as a people. To do this we must submerge ourselves into the studying of our true culture. Alkebu-lan people must know what we through our ancestors have contributed to the civilizations of this world. The Nuwaubians were not only taught culture by Master Teacher, Dr. Malachi Z York El. Dr Malachi as many of our Masters Teachers have not only taught us how to understand and deal with the culture that have and still is supressing us for so long, but that to take back our true Alkebu-lan/African culture and identity Nuwaubians/Moors have to first give up the slave master's so-called "culture."
As a result, we, Nuwaubians had to submerge ourselves into studying the truth about the slave master's culture and religions. The slave master's religions is one of his major tools used in brainwashing and controlling Black people. The slave master has us praying to a god in his image. We the Nuwaupians/Nuwaubians people must know that it is foolish not to study everything that makes up the society in which we live. Thus, Master Teacher Dr.Malachi Z York El took us through what are called "different schools of thought". For example, we went through the Islamic School where we submerged ourselves in the Islamic religion. We lived as Muslims, dressed as Muslims, studied and spoke the language, read their holy books in their languages, etc. In the school of Christianity we did the same, and also in the school of Judaism. Doing this gave us a first hand experience of what it is to be one of them. This gave us the ablity to know the facts about these religions, and, as a result, gave us the ability to relate and understand their points of view. This is what it is to be a Nuwaupian?Nuwaubian. Nuwaupu is the science of SOUND RIGHT REASONING which we can only acheive by having Right Knowledge, Right Wisdom and Right Overstanding.

The African word Nuwaubu also spelled Nuwaupu goes way back to the Alkebu-lan black African people of Sumeria who called themselves the 'Black- headed people' and their land KI-EN-GER which means the 'land of the Guardians' as the word Nubun meaning 'before the light, presenter of news'. It is from this word Nubun that the Ashuric/Syriac [Arabic] word Nuwb, also spelled Nuwuba, meaning 'Prophethood, prophecy' and the Aramic [Hebrew] word Nebuwah meaning 'Prediction' comes from. Indeed, both the Arabic and Hebrew words comes from the same root word Nuwb which means 'to sprout, to germinate'. The root of the word Nuwaubu is NUWB or NWB. the word Nub is also the name of one of the ancient African deities.

Let us take a deeper look into the word Nuwaupu. Now alphabetical letters of all languages have numerical values. For example in English Language 'A' has a value of 6, 'B' value of 12, 'C' a value of 18 and so on. In Arabic and Hebrew these values is called the Abjad. The numerical values or Abjad of the root letters of Nuwaubu are as follow 'N'=50, 'W'=6 and 'B'=2. Now, if we look at the Islamic religion, which itself is derived from Christianity and Judaism, it has 99 attributes for God/Allah. Allah's/God's 50th attribute is Shahiydu and means 'the witness' which is Shahada in our language Nuwaubic meaning 'to bear witness'.
Allah's/God's 6th attribute is El Muw'minu and means 'the faithful.' In Nuwaubic it is Amun-mul meaning 'the faithful witness,' notice the Egyptian word AMUN also spell AMEN and means 'the hidden one'
Allah's/God's 2nd attribute in Arabic is El Rahiymu meaning 'the merciful' which is Rahum-mul in Nuwaubic and means 'merciful'.

At this point, let us take a look at the requirements of monotheistic religions of the West verses that of Nuwaubu. We are taught by the monotheistic religions that we have to be a believer first to be so-called "saved". Here is what the word believe means 'to regard as true, to suppose something is true without having any facts about it'. On the other hand, Nuwaubu teaches us that we must first have the facts, Right Knowledge. Thus we must investigate objectively and rationally the information presented us.

The monotheistic religions teach us that we must first believe, then have to bear 'witness' [Shahiydu] to that which we believe. You cannot bear true witness or prove that which you don't know, unless you are bearing false witness. On the other hand, Nuwaubu teaches us that we must know the facts first, and not believe first.
Religion then tells us that we must put our 'faith' [El Muw'minu] into the belief/lies that we bear witness to. Nuwaubu teaches us that we put our faith or trust in facts. Faith in facts is unshakeable, but faith in belief is easily removed.
Religion teaches that after you accept what you don't know or after you have become a believer, their God will have 'mercy' [El Rahiymu] on you. Nuwaubu teaches us that mercy can only come upon you after you know the facts. It is the facts alone that can set you free, and not believing in a unknown, unproven deity/God.
Indeed, one can see there is a fundamental difference between us Nuwaubians and religion. Religion tells you to believe in what they teach first. Nuwaupu tells us don't believe in anything, but check it out for ourselves, get the facts and the truth first.

Let me point something out here. When I say "truth" I am not talking about subjective truth. Subjective means 'relating to the subject, determined by; derived from, one's own mind or consciousness'. Subjective truth is what you, as an individual or as a group, accepts to be the truth to you and only you or to the group. Example of this type of truth is "religious truth". We Nuwaubians are not required to accept anything, but investigate and come to one's own conclusions. Nuwaubu is not dogmatic. However, I am talking about objective truth. Objective means 'relating to an object: exterior to the mind: detached, impartial: that which is real or exists in nature in contrast with what is ideal or exists merely in the thought of the individual'.

According to the book "What is Nuwaupu" by Dr. Malachi Z. York on page 9 "If one has to believe, it means he or she does not know. And if one does not know, that is ignorance. Hence, belief is ignorance and religious beliefs, without the facts is ignorance..... The most deceptive word in religion is the word "believe" or "belief", because a person can believe anything and this means that a person can believe and be one hundred percent wrong. Knowledge is knowing and knowledge is correct information. "To know" gives one confidence, but belief infers doubt. Knowledge can be checked out by one or more of three tests," which are Experience, Evidence and Reason.

Now, the total numerical value of the root word 'NWB' is 50+6+2 a total of 58. The 58th attribute of God is El Mubdi'u meaning 'the beginner'. This is important because the oldest humans on this planet are us Nuwaubians also called Nubians and Moors. Our culture is the source of all other cultures on this planet. Nuwaubu was earth's first science and Nuwaubians it's first scientists. Nuwaubu is Right Knowledge, Right Wisdom, and Right Overstanding which leads to Sound Right Reasoning, and Nuwaubians are the sons and daughters of Nuwaubu. WE ARE NOT A RELIGIOUS ORGANISATION!!!
